From Payette games to the World cup

The Payette games in Idaho were really great trip. I went there only for short time, but I really enjoyed my staying. The location, wave and town looks so great. The hole over there is incredible, on one side is a big hole and on the other side is a wave so you can pretty much do all the moves on the list, you just have to build your ride properly. The competition didn't went well for me even I felt really good in the training. The first run was all right but I was feeling really slow and tired and was flashing on my moves which didn't really helped to my score. I end up on the 12th place and didn't made the cut. Congrats to Matt and Nick for great results. I also took part at kayak cross and kayak 8ball event. In cross I end up on some 12th position or something like that when Egor beat me in my run so I was out for the semifinals. In the end Gerd won the kayak cross and took home big price money. The 8 ball competition was sick too. There were 13 people trying to knock you out from the competition. In my semifinal heat I came second but only first from each heat came true to the final 5 where Bryan Kirk with his super fast boat won the 8ball competition. The week in US was over and everybody was leaving in hurry to the airport for the World Cup in freestyle kayaking. The first event of the World Cups took place in Millau (FRA) just started Wednesday, which meant almost no training. I didn't went for the WC in Millau. I really wanted to spend at least a little time with my family and see my new born son. Than after only four days at home I left for the last two World Cup competitions in Salt and Sort (Spain). In Salt it was a small hole where almost all hole moves were possible. It was a tough competition where I made it into the finals and was fighting for the medals. In the finals I had really good last ride but unfortunately the judges dint scored my last trophy move thinking that was not in time even I started it before the busier. If it would be scored it would be the firs place for my, but unfortunately I finished with the 4th place. Dane Jackson was the winner of K1 men, Matt took 2nd place and Quim 3rd.

Now we are in Sort starting again from the zero, so cross the fingers for me :).
Check out the video from Payette.
