NINA AND PETER IN GRAZ
After a fews day at home we are on the road again. Our first stop was in Graz. We came here on Friday and had two training sessions. I was quite worried about my back, but fortunately it seems to heal well, so I could go on fully. Friday evening the Graz kayak club invited everybody to their boathouse where they did a barbecue. NINA & PETER IN KADAN
After the competition in Plattling we moved to Kadaň, in Czech republic. They had the first event of their Cnawr rodeo tour. The hole in Kadaň was very powerful. You had enough of training after 30 minutes. Peter and I enjoyed this competition a lot, especially because we met many of our Czech and Slovak friends there. It is very nice to paddle with your friends and spend some time having fun and not just training and focusing on the event. PETER AND NINA roudtrip #1
In April the opening of our white water course took place in Cunovo. Divoka Voda asked us together with Jana Dukatova (slalom) to make the promo talk about the course because of the relations we have to the media. It was really well organised and we met many people from all kinds of newspapers, TV and radio stations. We also had some nice food and program like jetski, paintball... Hory a mesto and Plattling
Here we are again after a successful week. We started out training in Plattling, because our whitewater won't be runnable until the beginning of April. It's a famous hole and really good place to have train because you can stay easy at the wave and camp.We had to return sooner than planned because we were asked to paticipate in a TV shoot. EARLY SEASON UPDATE
Uganda was a great start to the new season. When went home we spent just one week there and than we went to the Hight Tatras ( SVK ) to make a new Adidas movie called “ALL INN TATRY BEZ LIMITOV”. It was kind of hard from 33 °C to -15 °C where we spent all day behind the cameras. Uganda almost as a second home
We often spend winter in Uganda. This year it was our sixth time here. We feel almost at home here so there is not much that can surprise us. We started our journey in the beginning of January. It was the right time for us to leave cold Slovakia and go somewhere warm. We were really looking forward to this because Peter and me just got the new vajda boats and we wanted to try them out. First time when I saw Peter’s new boat- Beast I was sure I want it too. I tried his boat and despite it has too much volume for me I was able to paddle it. We customized the boat for my weight. I was quite nervous because I took it straight to Uganda without trying it. Uganda 2012
Unfortunatelly last time the pictures didnt upload so here we are ...Our winter session seems to be over because we already start paddling and training in Ugandan White Nile where we use to go every year to get ready for the season. Winter is here!
The winter season is here, the white water course in Slovakia stop to work at 15 november and its really cold to kayak somewhere close in Europe. For us it definitely doesn't mean free time, be honest I have even less time as few week ago... We started to prepare for next season in Gyms , Gymnastics gyms , Running in the forest, paddling on the flat water or on the paddling machines inside when its too cold. FILM FESTIVAL HORYZONTY

A NOTE FROM NINA
Kayaking season is almost over.The season is almost over, so now we have more time to relax... Not! This was the plan but actually with this life style it is not possible. Our last freestyle event was ARF Cup and Slovakian championships in Cunovo, Slovakia. We were a co-organizers of this event so it was a very busy weekend for us.
