Kuchl - my first freestyle training in this year
The season for me started just now, when the hot weather came to Europe. After many hours in gym and other trainings it was time to go for some kayaking at least over the weekend. My awesome g'power paddle.
This winter we decided to spent some time in warm Costa Rica by paddling the rivers, little bit of freestyling and surfing the ocean.
I took my adjustable g'power paddle with Qnect system with me. It was a perfect choice!
I got this paddle just few days before our leave so I didn't paddle it before but I can say after month of paddling I really love it!
It is the same as I use for freestyle - Harpoon but it is two pieces paddle so you can adjust the angle and length and it is easier to travel with.

Costa Rica update #3
Hey guys, to follow up for Nina’s article I will start with the Chirripo Atlantico. This river is probably the best river in Costa Rica! The trip started at 5 am. We packed the cars and left to the Mountain called Chirripo in the Chirripo National Park and Indian reservation. The way to the river was already exhausting. Costarica update #2
Happy new year from Costa Rica to everybody!
Right now we have only few days left in this awesome paradise so it is time to write something more about it.
As Peter mentioned before we came to Turrialba and than we did little surfing in Puerto Viejo at the Atlantic side.
After that we moved to north to Sarrapique where we spent Christmast as well.
Watter was quite low but still ok for few rivers. As a star we run river Sucio which has very brown/orange water because of vulcano which it flows from.

Costa Rica- pura vida
This year is the first time we decided to go somewhere else than Uganda. Why? Just to many times on one place get a bit boring. So this winter we went to Costa Rica. This year the white water course was running longer as usual. Normally is the end 15 of November, but this year it is running until the end of the November. Its awesome because mostly its still posible to paddle during this month, because the temperature is warm enought. I was trying to make the season as long as possible on the water, but today I am finished paddling on our cours for this year. Awesome week at Hurley.
This was a perfect end of this year competition season.
We drove to Hurley GBR one week before the competition has started.
From the last year when we were there first time we know that the wave is really good so we wanted to paddle there is a hundreds of paddlers.
It was great week. Weather was quite good and we could paddle twice a day.
